Stoll's three goals fells Ducks

EDMONTON, AB -- Eric Stoll had three goals and an assist to lead the Edmonton Road Runners to a 4-2 victory over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Friday at Rexhall Place.

Tony Salmelainen also scored and added an assist for the Road Runners, who improved to 2-1-2-0 on their current eight-game homestand.

Tyler Moss, a former IHL Cyclone, stopped 27 shots in the win for Edmonton, raising his record to 10-2-2.

Igor Pohanka and Michael Holmqvist scored for Cincinnati, which has lost a franchise-record 11 straight road games (0-10-0-1). The Ducks last won on the road October 30 at Chicago (4-1).

Frederic Cassivi surrendered four goals on 31 shots in the loss.

The Ducks complete a two-game series with Edmonton and a five-game road trip tonight at 9:00 p.m. at Rexhall Place.
