North Charleston, SC - The Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that goaltender Todd Ford has signed with the team. In keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Ford, 25, reports to the Stingrays after earning a 17-15-1 record in 35 games with the Victoria Salmon Kings in 2008-2009. Ford spent time in the ECHL and AHL with the Columbia Inferno, Pensacola Ice Pilots and the Toronto Marlies before heading to Victoria.

"Todd has been an elite goaltender in the ECHL for a few years now," said Stingrays Head Coach Cail MacLean. "He is a big man with a lot of skill and a great work ethic. We are very excited to have Todd in a Stingrays uniform this year."

During the 2008 Kelly Cup playoffs, the 6-foot-4, 176-pound Calgary, Alberta native appeared in all 13 games for Columbia posting an 8-4-1 record with a 2.21 goals-against average and .936 save percentage.
