Macon Mayhem News Release
MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr loaned center Stephen Pierog to the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL on Sunday.
Pierog, 23, is in his third season with the Mayhem, and in 16 games, he has five goals, seven assists and 12 points. Last season, the Guelph, Ontario native led the Mayhem in assists with 29, while also scoring 12 goals. He joins defenseman Chris Joseph as Mayhem players currently in the ECHL, as Joseph is currently on loan to the Jacksonville Icemen. Goaltender Troy Passingham was loaned to the Atlanta Gladiators earlier in the season, and defenseman Vinny Muto spent time with the Florida Everblades, while forward Caleb Cameron started the season with the Adirondack Thunder.
