Stefan Della Rovere Returns from Evansville

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today that the St. Louis Blues have reassigned forward Stefan Della Rovere to the Rivermen from their ECHL affiliate, the Evansville IceMen.

Della Rovere, 22, has a goal in 15 penalty minutes in 12 games with the Rivermen this season. He has been in Evansville since Jan. 19 and has totaled seven points (2g, 5a) in 12 ECHL games. Last season, the 5-foot-11-inch, 200-pound winger played in 69 games for the Rivermen and registered 10 points (4g, 6a) and 116 penalty minutes. In his 135 AHL games with Peoria, he has 26 points (12g, 14a) and 226 penalty minutes.

Originally selected by the Washington Capitals in the seventh round (#204 overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, the Richmond Hill, ON native was acquired by the St. Louis Blues in exchange for D.J. King on July 28, 2010.
