Boise, ID- After grabbing four of six points in their first ever series against the Wheeling Nailers, the Steelheads get back to work against a more familiar foe in the Utah Grizzlies. The Steelheads and Grizzlies are close in the standings, with Utah five points back of the Steelheads and three points from the final playoff spot in the Mountain Division. The Steelheads are 1-4-3 against the Grizzlies this season.

Player Notes:

- F Anthony Luciani recorded his first hat trick of the season on Saturday, his third career hat trick and first since 1/15/14.

- Luciani played his 300th professional game on Saturday (counting games played in Italy and Norway)

- F Joe Basaraba's next point will be the 100th of his pro career

- F Will Merchant has four goals and six points in his last eight games.

- F Bryce Van Brabant recorded his first goal and first assist as a Steelhead on Saturday night, while D Aaron Harstad grabbed his first assist.

- D Joe Faust is one goal shy of tying the Steelheads single-season ECHL record for goals by a defenseman, set in 2005-06 when Jarad Bourassa scored 13.

- D Corbin Baldwin played his 300th professional game on Wednesday

- G Landon Bow is 9-1-1 in his last eleven games.

- The Steelheads' penalty kill improved from 14th to 8th in the past week, now at 84.2 percent.

- Idaho has scored five short-handed goals in the last 11 games.

- The Steelheads are 8-3-1 this season against Eastern Conference teams.

- Idaho is 18-1-4 this season when leading after two periods

- The Steelheads have averaged 2.9 goals per game on the road this season.
