SAN ANTONIO (December 17, 2010) - The San Antonio Rampage recorded 41 shots on goal but were unable to solve Texas netminder Richard Bachman falling to the Stars 3-0 on Friday night at the AT&T Center.

The Rampage's 41 points continue to lead the Western Conference with a 20-8-1-0 record.

Texas left wing Luke Gazdic gave the Stars a 1-0 advantage 16:57 after the initial face off when he received the puck in the slot during a two-on-one situation and scored to the high stick side of Rampage goaltender Joe Fallon.

The Stars extended their lead to 2-0 just 35 seconds into the second period after left wing Francis Wathier intercepted a clearing pass by Fallon to score his 10th goal of the season.

With 2:10 remaining in regulation, Rampage head coach Ray Edwards pulled Fallon in favor of a sixth attacker hoping to spark a rally, however, Stars forward Greg Rallo scored on the empty net with one minute remaining in the contest to seal the Texas victory at 3-0.
