Boise, ID (10/2/13) - Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Brad Ralph announced Wednesday afternoon that defenseman Etienne Boutet has been assigned to the Idaho Steelheads by the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

Idaho (ECHL) and Texas (AHL) are the primary development affiliates of the NHL's Dallas Stars.

The Steelheads host their third-annual "Season-Ticket Holder Only" preseason game on October 12 before opening the regular season on October 18 at Utah .

The 17th season of professional hockey gets underway at CenturyLink Arena on October 23 when the Idaho Steelheads host the San Francisco Bulls.
