Lincoln, Neb. - The Stars exploded offensively with a 5-0 win against the Waterloo Black Hawks to even the series, 1-1, in the Ice Box on Saturday night.

The Stars opened the scoring midway through the first when Jack Badini pinged a shot off the post and Joachim Weberg buried the rebound to make it 1-0. Badini and Tye Ausmus had the assists.

The Stars carried their three-goal lead into the second intermission.

Hamilton potted his second of the night in the third, then Grant Jozefek added an empty netter to make it a 5-0 final.
