Star Wars Night Set for this Evening at Werner Park

PAPILLION, NE - The Omaha Storm Chasers will host their annual Star Wars Night presented by ParentSavvy.com this evening at Werner Park, which will feature a Boba Fett Jersey Auction, Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks following the game, and specially-named concessions items in honor of the Star Wars saga.

Among the food items available at Werner Park this evening are Hutt Dogs, Vader Tots, Wookie Cones, Hanburgers and Boba Fries. Fans attending the game in suites will also be able to order Seven Leia Dip, Wookie Cookies, Chips and Sith, and Bottomless Millennium Falcorn. The Cresa Cantina will also be serving Stars Wars themed cocktails for the occasion, with Pepsi Yoda fountain drinks also available.

Members of the 501st Legion will be at the ballpark as well, dressed as Star Wars characters to pose for pictures. Storm Chasers players and coaches will don Boba Fett Star Wars Jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Methodist Hospital Foundation. Post-Game Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks will also be accompanied by Star Wars themed music at the conclusion of the contest.

First pitch for this evening's game against the Memphis Redbirds, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT at Werner Park. Gates will open at 6:00pm, with parking lots open starting at 5:00pm.
