DUBUQUE, Iowa - Plenty of family fun is on the way this weekend for Dubuque Fighting Saints fans. On Friday, against the Bloomington Thunder, the coveted Stanley Cup will be at Our House. And on Saturday, when the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders come to town, fans will have a chance to give back to the community during Captain Underpants Night.
Sponsored by Dubuque Fire Equipment, Stanley Cup Night will feature "The Cup" in Dubuque for the first time ever. Seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have your picture taken with the Stanley Cup throughout the entire night. Puck drop is at 7:35 p.m.
Bring the whole family to see The Cup with a TH Media Family Four Pack. Starting at just $48, a Family Four Pack includes four tickets, four sodas, four slices of Papa John's pizza, and two Kids Zone vouchers.
Want to give back to the community in a fun way? Just like Teddy Bear Toss Night, Saturday's Captain Underpants Night will feature a very similar theme. Once the Fighting Saints score their first goal of the game, toss new packaged underwear onto the ice.
All of the donations, which can range from diapers to adult sizes, will benefit local shelters in the Tri-State area. Saturday's game begins at a special holiday weekend start time of 6:05 p.m. After the game, skate with your favorite Fighting Saints players for our final Skate With the Saints session of the season.
