Stampeders unveil new red and white jerseys

(Calgary) – Today the Calgary Stampeders Football Club unveiled their new Reebok home and away jerseys at a news conference held at McMahon Stadium. Stampeder players Jay McNeil, George White, Ronney Jenkins and Brian Clark modeled the new look jerseys.

“Throughout the design process we really wanted to emphasize our pre-eminent colour red,” stated Equipment Manager George Hopkins. “As a result, red is now prominent in all of our jerseys.”

The design process was an exciting as the Club worked closely with designers to emphasize colour applications, design preferences, logos and wordmarks, which reflect the culture and history of the Calgary Stampeders.
