About Calgary Stampeders Foundation

The Calgary Stampeders Foundation supports minor football programming in southern Alberta as well as various health and wellness initiatives. The Calgary Stampeders donated more than $400,000 last season to support amateur football including donations to the Calgary Colts, Calgary Bantam Football Association, the Calgary Dinos, Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association, the John Forzani Memorial Endowment and the Town of Raymond football program. Proceeds from the Charity Poker Tournament are directed to High School Football programs and KidSport Calgary. Funding is directed to support high school football programs operations and to assist families and youth with registration fees and equipment. KidSport distributes funds to support community football programs as well as High School programs, so no matter the stream of football, financial assistance is available in order to ensure that the cost of sport is not a barrier to play, thanks to the Stampeders Foundation.

The Calgary Stampeders are also proud to host the Pink Power game in October which raises funds through the Stampeders Foundation to the Canadian Cancer Society and support players' and team charitable initiatives such as Hike for Hospice, CUPS, the Alberta Children's Hospital, anti-bullying programs, the Salvation Army, Food Bank, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Canadian Blood Services and many more.
