BOISE, Idaho - Donald Sloan made two free throws with 1.0 seconds left as the Stampede lost to the Reno Bighorns 105-103 on Saturday night at Qwest Arena. Sloan finished the game with 17 points.

Lance Hurdle scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting (4-7 3FG), and three fellow Stampeders scored 16 points apiece: Jermareo Davidson (11 rebounds), NBA assignee Armon Johnson (five rebounds) and Carlos Wheeler (10-10 FT). Hurdle scored 15 points in the third quarter, making 6-of-9 shots as the Stampede outscored the Bighorns 39-22 to take a one-point lead. Cedric Jackson added 14 points, eight assists and five rebounds for Idaho (10-19).

Anthony Richardson led the way for Reno (20-12) with 20 points and eight rebounds. Steve Novak continued his sharp-shooting with 16 points (4-7 3FG) and Reno made 12-of-21 (57.1 percent) three-pointers for the game.

Davidson made two free throws with 25.8 seconds left to tie the game at 103, then with the clock running down, Sloan was fouled attempting a three-point shot and he made two to take the 105-103 lead. Hurdle missed a three-pointer as the buzzer went off.

The Stampede leave to play Dakota on Feb. 8 before playing in Sioux Falls on Feb. 11 and 12. The Stampede return home to play Bakersfield on Feb. 16.
