Stampede Acquire Luke Jackson

BOISE, Idaho, November 25, 2010 - The Idaho Stampede announced today the acquisition of free agent forward Luke Jackson (6-7, 215, Oregon).

Jackson has played 78 games (62 starts) for the Stampede in three previous seasons with Idaho, including the 2007-08 championship year. Jackson has Stampede career averages of 15.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game on 45.0 percent shooting from the floor and 43.6 percent shooting from the three-point line.

Jackson played one game this season with the Memphis Grizzlies, totaling three rebounds in four minutes. In his career, Jackson has played 37 games (4 starts) with Cleveland, Boston, Toronto, Portland and Memphis, averaging 4.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.

"Luke Jackson is a veteran player who has experience in Boise and the Treasure Valley," Head Coach Randy Livingston said. "We look forward to seeing him on the floor and are excited about what he can contribute to our young team."

The acquiring of Jackson is the team's first roster move this season.
