Spokane, WA - The Spokane Indians Baseball Club is pleased to announce the release of their promotional calendar for the upcoming 2016 season. As the premier provider of affordable summer entertainment in Spokane, the Indians strive to make every game a unique family experience.
The season starts on Friday, June 17 with Opening Night Fireworks & AAA Magnet Schedule Giveaway presented by Les Schwab Tires, KREM 2-TV, 93.7 The Mountain, 1510 KGA NW Sports Talk, and Journal of Business. In addition to Opening Night, there will be seven other spectacular Fireworks Nights throughout the season: July 4, July 16, July 29, July 30, August 12, August 27, and September 2.
Another Spokane tradition continues with Yoke's Family Feast Nights presented by Yoke's Fresh Market and 92.9 ZZU, returning for a quartet of games this year: June 18, July 8, August 13, and August 26.
The highly anticipated Star Wars Night & Post-Game Laser Light Show debuts on July 15 as Avista Stadium is transformed into a galaxy far, far away. Indians players will wear special edition Star Wars jerseys that will be available via auction benefiting the Rypien Foundation and the game will be followed by the first laser light show in the team's 113-year history.
Every Friday and Saturday night game will feature No-Li Happy Hour presented by The Inlander with $4 pints of draft beer and special discounts on Pepsi products from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Avista Stadium will be one of just three locations to feature No-Li's Big Juicy IPA on tap - the perfect beer for those hot summer nights at the ballpark.
The Indians have long been known for their great promotional items and this summer is no different with the Baseball Hat Giveaway on July 14, Indians Baseball Card Giveaway on July 28, and Team Photo Giveaway on August 13.
New promotional nights for 2016 include 80's Night on July 6, Rhythm & Brews Night on July 12, and the Outdoor Expo Day Game on August 28.
Postgame entertainment includes Supercuts Post-Game Circle the Bases after 10 games throughout the summer, in addition to three installments of the Coors Light Post-Game Concert Series on June 17, July 29, and September 2. Fans looking for some in-game excitement can play Coeur d'Alene Casino Baseball BINGO on June 18, July 8, and August 12.
