Spirit Trade Peters To Bulls

(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit have sent goalie Anthony Peters to the Belleville Bulls of the Eastern Conference for a fifth round pick in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection. The Bulls acquired the fifth round pick from the Kitchener Rangers in an earlier trade.

Peters anchored Saginaw's net in 14 games this season, for a 3.54 goals against average and 0.900 save percentage. The 1990-born Blyth, Ontario native came to the Spirit last season after a stint with the Kingston Frontenacs.

The Spirit enter tonight's contest with the goaltending corp of Atlanta Thrashers pick Edward Pasquale and rookie Tadeas Galansky.

Tickets are on sale now! Tickets are on sale now for both upcoming home games, on January 8 against the Guelph Storm and January 9 against the Owen Sound Attack. Friday's game features the first ever Jet's Pizza Toss contest and a rookie poster giveaway, while Saturday's game features the season premiere of the McDonald Cadillac GMC Shootout.
