Spink Named Plus Perfomer of the Month

Toledo, OH - Forward Tylor Spink was named AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performers of the month for October by leading the ECHL with a plus-minus rating of +8 during the month.

Spink posted a +3 rating in Toledo's 6-5 overtime win against Brampton on October 22 at the Huntington Center. The 23-year-old forward also had a pair of games with a +2 rating (October 15 at Atlanta and October 18 at Cincinnati).

Helping the Walleye to a 6-1-0 start to the season, Spink has collected 8 points (2G, 6A), including goals in back to back games over the weekend in Norfolk. He made his professional debut at the end of last year appearing in seven games for the Walleye (2G, 7A) with a +9 rating. The Williamstown, Ontario native also appeared in a pair of games for Toronto in the AHL.

Prior to turning professional, Spink collected 115 points (47G, 68A) over 133 contests in the last four years for the Colgate Raiders. He was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team in 2012-13 with 13 goals and 18 assists. Last year, he set a career-best with 21 assists and 34 points.

In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Tylor Spink with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner.
