Sova Becomes First Call-Up

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. -- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser announced today that defenseman has been called up to ECHL Fort Wayne.

Sova, 28, joined the RiverKings prior to this weekend's games after being acquired from the Peoria Rivermen in exchange for defenseman Donald Olivieri. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound defenseman recorded one goal and had a +1 plus/minus in two games with the RiverKings.
