SOUNDERS FC TO MAKE ADDITIONAL SEATS AVAILABLE AT CENTURYLINK FIELD FOR 2018 MLS SEASON
SEATTLE, WASH. - Sounders FC today announced that the club is making additional seats available at CenturyLink Field for the 2018 Major League Soccer season. Due to demand, upper-bowl season tickets in sections 307 and 311 are being opened for the first time ever, available at a rate amongst the lowest in the stadium.
Seats within these newly-opened sections are priced at $26 per match ($494 for the season) for new Season Ticket Members, and $25 per match ($475 for the season) for inaugural Season Ticket Members. Current Season Ticket Members have a chance to relocate or add seats in these newly opened sections until December 11 by calling or emailing their Sounders FC representative. Non-Season Ticket Members can purchase seats online at SoundersFC.com or by calling 877-MLS-GOAL for more details. For complete information, details and pricing on 2018 Sounders FC season tickets, fans should call 877-MLS-GOAL or email sales@soundersfc.com.
As some of the most dedicated and ardent in the league, Sounders FC's fans are integral to the team creating a daunting environment for away clubs to face, and that has shown over the years in the Rave Green's record. In 2017, the club finished its regular-season campaign with a franchise-best home record of 11-1-5, and, overall since 2009, Sounders FC is 89-30-30 on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field, all while setting a league record of 165 consecutive MLS sellouts.
Following a 5-0 aggregate victory over the Houston Dynamo in the Western Conference Championship, Sounders FC has advanced to the MLS Cup for the second consecutive year. Kickoff at BMO Field on Saturday December 9 is slated for 1:00 p.m. PT (ESPN, UniMás, TSN, TVA Sports, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM), as the team takes on the Reds in a rematch of last year's final and looks to bring back-to-back championships to the Emerald City.
