Will face Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in first round
BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have qualified for the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs and will face the East Division Champion Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the first round starting on the road next Thursday, April 20th. The schedule for the best-of-seven division semifinal is as follows:
Game One - Thursday, April 20th in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m.
Game Two - Saturday, April 22nd in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m.
Game Three - Sunday, April 23rd at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard at 1:05 p.m.
Game Four - Tuesday, April 25th at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard at 7:35 p.m.
Game Five - Wednesday, April 26th in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)
Game Six - Friday, April 28th at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard at 7:35 p.m. (if necessary)
Game Seven - Saturday, April 29th in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:05 p.m. (if necessary)

The Sound Tigers will finish the 2005-06 regular season with a pair of road games this weekend versus Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday, April 14th at 7:05 p.m. and the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, April 15th at 7 p.m. All Sound Tigers games are web-cast live at www.soundtigers.com.
