April 11, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Bridgeport Islanders News Release
Bridgeport, Conn. - The Sound Tigers announced today that all ticket plan holders will receive free tickets to the team's first two Calder Cup Playoff home games scheduled for Friday, April 17th at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 18th at 7 p.m. at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Whether you have had a five-game plan or full season tickets, the Sound Tigers are providing free admission.
"The support we've received from our biggest fans - the various plan holders - has been overwhelming this season," Sound Tigers' president Howard Saffan said. "Without them, there is no way we'd have had such a record-breaking year. We're excited to provide them with the chance to see their team in the first two games of the opening round at the Coliseum for free."
Plan holders who have not already ordered their playoff tickets should call the Sound Tigers' front office no later than 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 15. The Nassau Coliseum Box Office Will Call will have the tickets available the day of each game. For those plan holders that have already purchased their tickets for the Calder Cup Playoffs, a credit will go towards your 2009-10 season tickets.
