February 7, 2013 - Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) - Chicago Soul FC
Friday, February 8 vs. Rochester Lancers - 7:30 p.m. (CST)
The Chicago Soul (9-12) are back in action on Friday, February 8 when they host the Rochester Lancers (7-14) at the Sears Centre Arena. The two squads have met three times this season, with Rochester coming out on top in each meeting. On November 10, the Soul fell shy of victory after dropping to the Lancers 18-16 in Rochester. On November 21, the Soul returned to the Blue Cross Arena only to be handed another loss. This time, Chicago fell 16-8. The Soul were hoping for a shot at redemption at home on December 7, but had no luck then either, picking up a 13-11 loss despite a hat trick from Christian Meza. The Soul, who will face Rochester for the first time under Head Coach Novi Marojevic, will try avoid a series sweep on Friday night and defend their playoff position as they go head-to-head with the Lancers for the fourth and final time this season.
