The HarbourCats place a high priority on making every HarbourCats game not just a baseball game, but an event and a complete entertainment experience. In keeping with this, the club is pleased to announce special plans for June 25 at Royal Athletic Park.

SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL DAY -- CHRISTMAS IN JUNE (JUNE 25)

It's six months from Christmas and six months until next Christmas, so we've made it a special day for the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation complete with Christmas music, plenty of activities themed around the Yuletide, and even an appearance from the Jolly Old Man himself!

Centered on the focus of giving, this will be a great opportunity to learn about the fantastic work done by the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation. That foundation will make a major announcement that evening.

YOGA DAY IN VICTORIA

June 25 is a special day because on that date, Moksha Yoga and Lululemon present Mats, Bats and Beats, a chance to join with the community in a celebration of yoga on the field before the baseball game. Gates will open at 2:30pm for a chance to meet HarbourCats players and coaches with a one-hour yoga class beginning at 4pm featuring DJ Yogi Tunes.

Concessions and refreshments open at 5pm prior to the 6:35pm first pitch of the HarbourCats and Kitsap Blue Jackets game.

DOUBLE-N HARDWOOD FLOORS OFFICIAL BAT PROVIDER OF THE HARBOURCATS

Double-N Hardwood Floors, a fixture in Victoria, has stepped to the plate as the Official Bat Provider of the HarbourCats, looking after that key department of the team's on-field operations.

The bats themselves will come from Prairie Sticks Bats, a Canadian-based company from Red Deer, Alberta that produces bats up to major league standard. Included in the arrangement are game bats, batting practice bats, special coach bats ('fungos') and ornamental bats all provided by Double-N Hardwood Floors and crafted by Prairie Sticks. A winning combination of teamwork to help the team in 2016!
