Somerset Patriots Re-Sign Adam Donachie and Dan Hennigan

Bridgewater, NJ - The Five-Time Atlantic League Champion Somerset Patriots have announced the re-signings of catcher Adam Donachie and infielder Dan Hennigan.

Donachie drove in 22 runs on 69 hits, 17 doubles, and three homeruns while scoring 27 times for the Patriots during the 2012 season.

He was a second round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals in 2002 and also has experience in the Baltimore Orioles organization. He has two seasons of Triple-A time, including 14 games at Norfolk in 2011.

Donachie has 570 career hits, 125 doubles, 53 home runs, and 269 RBI in 768 games.

Hennigan appeared in 35 games for the Patriots during the 2012 season. During that time he had 24 hits, two doubles, five RBI, and 16 runs scored.

He joined the Patriots last season after playing collegiate baseball for Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire.
