Orlando Solar Bears News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Toronto Marlies, have announced their Protected List following the 2015-16 season. The Solar Bears have placed 22 players on the Protected List. Thrush, 24, completed his rookie season with Evansville, after also previously suiting up with the Indy Fuel, South Carolina Stingrays and Allen Americans. In 25 total games, Thrush posted eight points (4g-4a) and six penalty minutes.
Prior to turning pro, the native of Olney, Md., skated with the University of New Hampshire from 2011-15, recording 63 points (20g-43a) and 79 points in 151 career games for the Wildcats.
