Solar Bears Announce 2017-18 Season-Opening Roster

The Solar Bears roster consists of four veterans (skaters who have played at least 260 games of regular season hockey in qualifying leagues entering the 2017-18 season) and 10 rookies (players who have less than 25 regular season games at the "AA" level or higher entering the 2017-18 season). Seven players are on American Hockey League contracts assigned by Orlando's AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.

The Orlando Solar Bears drop the puck on their 2017-18 home schedule on Saturday, Oct. 28 against the Atlanta Gladiators at the ARS.com Rink at Amway Center. Single-game tickets for the 2017-18 season are now on sale at the Amway Center box office and ticketmaster.com. Fans can purchase BOGO tickets for Opening Weekend and get tickets for both Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29 by visiting orlandosolarbearshockey.com/coors to take advantage of this offer, presented by Coors Light.
