San Diego Sockers News Release
SAN DIEGO---Sockers captain Aaron Susi netted a hat trick with two assists in his return to the starting lineup as the San Diego Sockers (2-0) defeated Real Phoenix 11-5 in front of 2,914 at the Valley View Casino Center. The Sockers won their 39th straight contest dating back to December 27th 2010, a streak one short of tying the US professional team sports record.

Midfielder Brian Farber added a hat trick with an assist and leads the Sockers with five goals and nine points. League MVP Kraig Chiles added his fifth goal of the season and contributed two assists as well, and 43-year-old midfielder Paul Wright continued his career renaissance with two goals and two assists.
The Sockers travel to the Arizona Storm next Saturday, a 4:05pm kickoff on ESPN Radio 1700-AM, in search of their record-tying 40th straight win.
