Snappers Seeking Volunteers for 2017

BELOIT, WI - The Beloit Snappers are in the process of finding volunteers to bolster their game day staff for the upcoming season. Volunteers can range from individuals to groups and organizations. Many lifelong friends have been made volunteering over the decades and companies have used it as a way to build comradery while serving a not-for-profit-organization in the community.
Volunteers will occupy positions of ticket takers in addition to the main and grill concession stands. All volunteers receive a season pass to Snappers games and a 50-percent discount on food and beverage during games worked while contributing to the atmosphere of Minor League Baseball.
"One of my favorite parts about working for the Snappers is the true community aspect of it," comments Snappers General Manager Seth Flolid. "Our support comes in many ways, shapes, and forms. While volunteerism is an indispensable part of our operation, the friends I have made and continue to make through these opportunities to get involved at Pohlman Field are what excite me the most."
The Snappers are also looking for alert, dependable young volunteers to serve as the bat boy/girl for the Snappers or our Midwest League opponents. This is a responsibility that requires attention at all times and is an important part of the game, but it is still an opportunity to spend time next to future Major League players.

The Beloit Snappers are a member of the Midwest League and have been the Single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics since 2013. Opening Day for the Snappers 36th season is April 6, 2017 at Pohlman Field as the Snappers host the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
