Smokies Kick off Second Half Home Schedule Tuesday Night

KODAK, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, begin their second half home schedule with a five-game set with the Birmingham Barons starting Tuesday, June 26. Come join us at Smokies Park as we cheer on the Smokies to a second half North Division championship, and enjoy another great Fireworks Friday, our Salute to Heroes night and an appearance by the ZOOperstars.

Join us for Tuesday's 7:15 game, kick off the second half with another Pilot Prize Night, where you'll receive a scratch-off upon entering the gates and can redeem your prize at a local Pilot location. Jefferson and Hamblen County residents, make sure you present a photo ID or pay stub to the box office, and receive $2 off any regularly priced ticket as part of Jefferson/Hamblen County Night, presented by The Citizen Tribune and The Standard Banner.

Money will be flying during Wednesday's 7:15 game. Select fans will have the opportunity to pick up as much cash as they can in the CNB Money Grab. As every Wednesday, its Blount County Night, where Blount County residents can present a photo ID or pay stub to the box office, and receive $2 off any regularly priced ticket, courtesy of The Maryville Daily Times.

Kids better bring their appetite at the 7:15 game on Thursday, as kids 12-and-under, with paid admission, will receive a free hot dog, small soda and bad of chips, courtesy of Q93 FM. After the game, kids can run the bases like the Smokies, thanks to Shoney's. Bring your jars or Food City receipts showing proof of purchase of Peter Pan Peanut Butter so you can purchase a ticket and receive another for free, presented by Food City. It's another Pilot Prize Night so everyone will go home a winner. Bring your ID or pay stub to the box office if you're a resident or employee of Knox County, as you can receive a $2 discount on any regular priced field level or bleacher ticket, presented by the Knoxville News Sentinel and CW20.

Come be a part of history at the 7:15 game on Friday. Make sure to arrive early; the Smokies will attempt to set a new world record by having the most people whistling at once during pregame. You might feel like you're watching the game in Chicago as the concession stands will sell Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches as part of All Things Chicago Night. Stick around after the game for another fireworks extravaganza, presented by the Knoxville News Sentinel, Pepsi, Coors Light, WIVK 107.7, and WVLT TV-8.

The homestand wraps up with Saturday's 6:15 game, where we hold Salute to Heroes Night and pay tribute to all those who have paid the ultimate price while serving our country in a pre-game ceremony starting at 5:00, presented by Miller High Life. All veterans and current military personnel can receive free tickets by presenting a military ID, veterans ID or a D.D. Form at the designated table next to Will Call and all family members can purchase a field level ticket for $7. The ZOOperstars will be at Smokies Park to entertain the crowd during the game and stick around after game for the postgame ball toss, presented by Fast Frame.

Smokies tickets can be purchased at www.smokiesbaseball.com or at (865) 286-2300. Adult field level or bleacher seats are $10/$8. Child (12-and-under) and senior (55+) field level or bleacher seats are $9/$7. Fans buying tickets at least four hours before game time get $1 off each ticket.
