Spokane Chiefs News Release
SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced today that forward Wyatt Sloboshan has failed to report to Spokane following the mid-season holiday break.
"Wyatt has failed to report back to Spokane," said Chiefs' General Manager Scott Carter. "We are exploring all options with Wyatt and the league."
The 19-year-old forward was acquired in a trade just before the holiday break that sent forward Markson Bechtold and defenseman Evan Fiala to Saskatoon in exchange for Sloboshan and 18-year-old defenseman Nolan Reid, along with a third round pick in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft. Reid has picked up two assists in four games for the Chiefs since the trade while Sloboshan suited up only for the team's December 17 game against Prince George and went scoreless.
