Skyforce to Hold Open Tryouts in Sioux Falls and Miami

Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team will hold open tryouts for the 2016-17 season in Miami on Sunday, October 9. The tryout in Sioux Falls will be announced at a later date.
Open tryouts offer players an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Skyforce coaches and HEAT personnel while they compete to earn an invitation to the NBA Development League team's training camp in November.
Following are the dates and locations of each of the open tryouts:
Miami Tryout
Sunday, October 9 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (8 a.m. check-in)
$150 pre-registration fee * Registration deadline: Friday, October 7.
Ransom Everglades High School * 3575 Main Highway, Miami, FL 33133
Sioux Falls Tryout
Date and time to be announced at a later date.
$150 pre-registration fee * Registration deadline: TBA
Sanford Pentagon * 2210 W. Pentagon Pl., Sioux Falls, SD 57107
Applicants must be eligible to play in the NBA D-League and are required to pre-register by submitting the registration, release and health information authorization forms along with a $150 nonrefundable fee. Tryout forms are available online (skyforceonline.com) or at the Skyforce office (2131 S. Minnesota Ave.).
