SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Colorado 14ers 120-100 on Saturday night at the Sioux Falls Arena in front of a crowd of 4,860. The Skyforce shot a season-best 55.6 percent from 3-point range to beat the 14ers, who lead the NBA D-League in scoring this season.

The first half contained seven lead changes and seven ties as the two teams battled back and forth. A 3-pointer by Frank Williams with just five seconds remaining in the half brought the score to 61-60 in favor of the 14ers.

The Skyforce (19-16) made six 3-pointers in the third quarter alone and increased its lead to seven at 92-85 to end the third quarter. The 14ers (20-10) failed to generate offense in the fourth and the Skyforce took advantage, outscoring Colorado 28-15 in the final quarter.

Sioux Falls drained 15 3-point baskets, which ties the team's season-high in 3-pointers made. The Skyforce also used a balanced attack in the victory with six players scoring in double figures.

"The last two games we've really competed," Skyforce head coach Nate Tibbetts said. "We made some key shots, and it's a lot easier to play defense when you're making those shots."

David Bailey led all scorers with 31 points and also dished out seven assists. Williams netted 25 points and seven assists of his own. Bobby Jones recorded his 10th double-double on the season with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Leading the 14ers was Trey Gilder with 19 points and Billy Thomas with 18. Dominique Coleman added a double-double of his own with by scoring 14 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.

The 14ers will travel to Bismarck, N.D. to take on the Dakota Wizards on Monday. The Skyforce will host the Central Division-leading Iowa Energy Tuesday. Both games tipoff at 7 p.m. CT.
