Sioux City Adds Defenseman Levi Kleiboer

SIOUX CITY, IA - The Musketeers have acquired defenseman Levi Kleiboer from the Chicago Steel in exchange for a 2019 Phase II 8th round pick.
The University of Maine commit possesses a right-handed shot and stands at 5'11" while weighing in at 165lbs. He has spent the past three seasons playing for the Battlefords North Stars of the SJHL and has managed to improve his point totals in each season. In 46 games played during the 2017-18 season the Martensville, Saskatchewan native recorded ten goals and an impressive 32 assists for a total of 42 points.
Head Coach Luke Strand is looking forward adding the offensive defenseman to an already strong blueline "We are excited to add Levi's experience, offensive ability, and competitiveness to our blueline. His numbers and experiences are attractive attributes that strengthen our defensive corps."
Sioux City fans will get their first chance to see Levi and the Musketeers in action during the preseason when the Musketeers take on the Tri-City Storm on September 15th as part of the I-80 Cup at Ralston Arena in Omaha. The Musketeers will have three more preseason games before starting the regular season against the Green Bay Gamblers on September 28th as part of the 2018 USHL Fall Classic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The Musketeers will open their home schedule on Saturday, October 20th against the Waterloo Black Hawks. Single game tickets go on sale October 1st and season tickets are available now.
