Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

(Allentown, PA) - In honor of National Pig Day, single-game tickets for each of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs 73 home games at Coca-Cola Park, including the IronPigs-Phillies exhibition and Opening Day, will go on sale to the general public Saturday, March 1, at 9 a.m. As part of their benefits, season ticket holders - including those with 18- and 36-game plans - will have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets in advance of the general public by phone only from 10 a.m. on Monday, February 25, through 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 28.

"March 1 will be another sporktacular day in franchise history," stated General Manager Kurt Landes. "Fans have been waiting for more than a year to purchase tickets to single games on our schedule - including Opening Day and now the Phillies exhibition game - so our staff is very excited for this event. We look forward to doing our part in making National Pig Day an openly celebrated date in the Lehigh Valley!"

In addition to single-game ticket sales commencing, highlights of National Pig Day at Coca-Cola Park include a pig roast -- featuring complimentary food and Coca-Cola Park beverages, appearances by the IronPigs mascot Ferrous and a variety of activities for children including pig crafts, IronPigs tattoos and a chance to pin the tail on Ferrous.

National Pig Day was inspired by a Texas school teacher and has been recognized annually since 1972.

Prices for single-game tickets start as low as $6.00 for general admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area or standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats range from $7.50 to $9.00. Club Level tickets are already sold-out for the 2008 season.

Tickets for the IronPigs-Phillies showdown on March 30 and Opening Day on April 11 are available for purchase in-person only at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office. Individuals can purchase up to four tickets per game for both of the historic contests. Fans are advised to arrive early as tickets for both match-ups are limited.

Beginning at 9 a.m. on March 1, orders for the remaining 71 home games can be made at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or via phone by calling (610) 841-PIGS. With the exception of the IronPigs-Phillies exhibition and Opening Day, there is no limit on the number of tickets that can be bought for the remaining home games.

Season ticket holders looking to purchase tickets in advance of the general public must place their orders by phone by calling the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office at (610) 841-PIGS beginning February 25. No advance purchases are available for the IronPigs-Phillies exhibition or Opening Day.

Fans seeking to guarantee admission to the IronPigs-Phillies exhibition and Opening Day can still do so by purchasing a full-season or partial ticket plan (18- or 36-game) prior to March 1. Seat location priority will be limited once single-game tickets are on sale.

The IronPigs inaugural season, presented by Capital BlueCross, begins on April 3 at PNC Field in Moosic, Pa., against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. The IronPigs return for Opening Day at Coca-Cola Park on April 11 at 7:05 p.m. against the reigning International League champion Richmond Braves.
