Spokane Shock News Release

May 19, 2010 - Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced that they have added DB Antwan Marsh to the 2010 roster. In another roster move, WR Markee White and DL Jeremy Geathers have been placed on the Injured Reserve List.

Marsh, 6-3 210, was most recently signed by the Indianapolis Colts as a free agent before he was released in mini-camp. Before starting his professional career, Marsh attended Pikeville College where he was a three-year starter after transferring from Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.) Junior College. As a senior, Marsh collected 70 tackles - including six for loss - one sack, two forced fumbles, and three interceptions. As a junior, he tallied 56 tackles - including four for loss - and six interceptions. Both seasons he was selected as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.

"Antwan Marsh is a very versatile player and I'm excited to add him to our roster and teach him the game of Arena Football," Head Coach Rob Keefe explained. "He is extremely athletic and I think a lot of his abilities are well suited for the indoor game."

Although it is not known if Marsh will play in this Saturday's game, he will be eligible. This weekend the Shock are hosting the Utah Blaze on Spokane Tribe Field. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
