Shipachyov Returned to Wolves

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday that center Vadim Shipachyov has been returned on loan to the club by the Vegas Golden Knights.

Since his last stint with Chicago (Oct. 4-14), the 30-year-old has made his National Hockey League debut and appeared in three games. In his first NHL game on Oct. 15 against the Boston Bruins, Shipachyov netted his first goal and it stood as the game-winner.

Prior to joining the Vegas organization, Shipachyov spent nine seasons with two teams - Cherepovets Severstal (2008-13) and SKA St. Petersburg (2013-17) - in the Kontinental Hockey League. The Cherepovets, Russia native appeared in 445 games and collected 412 points (137G, 275A). He was a member of St. Petersburg's 2015 Gagarin Cup championship team.

On May 5, Shipachyov became the second player to sign with the Golden Knights.

The Wolves face the Manitoba Moose for the first time during the 2017-18 season on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Allstate Arena. The School-Day Game is set for 11 a.m. and will stream on AHLLive.com. For ticket information or complete regular-season game and broadcast schedules, visit ChicagoWolves.com.
