The Sherbrooke Phoenix came out flying on home ice and scored early as they took out the Wildcats 7-1 on Friday night in their first meeting of the season.
The Phoenix led 4-0 after one period of play and 7-1 after two periods. âKevin Klima's 20th of the season was the only Moncton tally. A power play goal from Cody Donaghey and Conor Garland, registering his 101st point of the season. Sherbrooke had 30 shots at both Blade Mann-Dixon and Keven Bouchard. The Wildcats directed 31 drives at Evan Fitzpatrick.
The team looks to end this mini losing streak against Drummondville Saturday January 23rd at 4:00 p.m. Atlantic time.
