Sharkey Returning for Havoc

HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach, Glenn Detulleo, announced today that forward Kyle Sharkey has re-signed for the upcoming season.

"Kyle is an exciting young player who was able to enter our lineup straight out of college last season and make an immediate impact," Detulleo said. " He has an exceptional hockey IQ and we believe that he will be able to play in all situations as a first year player for us ."

Sharkey joined the Havoc late last season and scored one goal and recorded four assists in seven games. He added two goals in six playoff games.

"I am excited to sign with Huntsville for the upcoming season," Sharkey said. "The short time I was there at the end of the year was an amazing experience. I am looking forward to playing in front of the best fans in the league. But mostly competing with a great group of guys to bring home a championship."

The Moore, Oklahoma native spent four seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he scored 58 goals and recorded 75 assists in 115 games.

The Havoc will open the 2017-18 season on the road in Macon on October 21st. The home opener is set for Friday, November 3rd at 7:00 p.m. on Pharmacy First Ice against the Fayetteville Marksmen.
