Senators Re-Assign Zack Smith To Binghamton

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators today re-assigned forward Zack Smith to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators .

Smith has played five games with Ottawa since his most recent recall on March 21, recording no points and five penalty minutes. He has played 14 games for the Senators this season, notching two goals and 14 penalty minutes.

In 64 AHL games with Binghamton this season, the 21-year-old has 14 goals, 24 assists and 96 penalty minutes.

The native of Maple Creek, Sask., has recorded two goals while adding 14 penalty minutes in 15 career NHL games.

The B-Sens (fifth in the AHL's East Division, 32-34-5-3, 72 points) have six games remaining in the regular season. They will next see action on Friday, April 2, when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
