Senator Rand Paul to Take BP at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Wednesday

U.S. Senator Rand Paul will take some swings in the batting cage at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Wednesday morning, August 17, before the Lexington Legends take on the West Virginia Power.
Senator Paul will join Legends President/CEO Andy Shea for a batting practice session from 10:45 - 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. At 11:30, Sen. Paul will be available to media on the concourse in front of the Kentucky Ale Taproom. Following that, he will be available for pictures with fans attending the game up until about 12:10 p.m.
At 12:15 p.m., he is scheduled to throw a ceremonial first pitch.
The game between the Legends and the Power will begin at 12:35 p.m. Senator Paul will leave the ballpark at about 12:45 p.m. for another appearance.
