In the second, Sharlon Schoop led off with a solo home run to left, giving the Baysox a 2-0 advantage.

Corey Jones lined an opposite-field double to left-center, scoring Gerber, making it 3-1. Dominic Ficociello and Grayson Greiner followed with back-to-back sacrifice flies to center, plating two runs, tying the game at 3-3.
Erie then took the lead in the eighth against reliever Tanner Scott. With two outs, Ficociello doubled to left to put the go-ahead run in scoring position. Greiner followed with a double, scoring Ficociello, giving Erie its first lead of the night at 4-3.
The SeaWolves lead held until the bottom of the ninth inning when they summoned reliever Joe Jimenez. Jimenez struck out Quincy Latimore for the first out. Chris O'Briend and Adrian Marin followed with back-to-backs singles, putting the winning run on base. Jay Gonzalez singled home pinch runner Connor Bierfelt, tying the game at 4-4.
