Seattle Reign FC Announce 2016 Pre-Season Schedule

Seattle, WA - Seattle Reign FC today announced its 2016 pre-season schedule. Reign FC will begin pre-season play on the road in Portland, Oregon in a three-match tournament at Providence Park. Seattle will wrap up pre-season play with a home match at Memorial Stadium against the University of Washington.
Taking place from March 27 - April 2, the Portland tournament will feature Seattle Reign FC, Houston Dash, Portland Thorns FC and Oregon State University.
The tournament will consist of three doubleheaders at Providence Park. Portland and Seattle will square off Sunday, March 27; kickoff is set for 5 p.m. (Pacific). Houston and Oregon State will face each other in the opening match at 2:30 p.m. (Pacific). On Wednesday, March 30, Seattle takes on Houston at 5 p.m. (Pacific), while Thorns FC play host to Oregon State at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific). Seattle and Oregon State square off at 2:30 p.m. (Pacific) and Portland closes out the preseason tournament against Houston at 5 p.m. (Pacific).
Individual tickets, which allow entry to both matches each day, start at $8 and will go on sale to the general public starting Thursday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m. (Pacific) online at www.portlandthornsfc.com. Full tournament ticket packages, starting at $15, also will be available for purchase online.
Reign FC will return home to host its annual Community Shield Match against the University of Washington on Saturday, April 9 at 7 p.m. PT.
The Community Shield Match is a benefit for Seattle Public Schools. Reign FC has made tickets available at no cost. Tickets are available now at https://www.reignfc.com/CS. There is a 10 ticket limit per account; tickets are required for entry. Tickets to the Community Shield Match are also included in every Seattle Reign FC season ticket membership.

Sunday, March 27 - Thorns FC vs. Seattle Reign FC at 5 p.m. (Pacific) at Providence Park, Portland, Or.
Wednesday, March 30 - Seattle Reign FC vs. Houston Dash at 5 p.m (Pacific) at Providence Park, Portland, Or.
Saturday, April 2 - Seattle Reign FC vs. Oregon State at 2:30 p.m (Pacific) at Providence Park, Portland, Or.
Saturday, April 9 - Seattle Reign FC vs. University of Washington at 7 p.m. (Pacific) at Memorial Stadium, Seattle, Wa.
Players and coaches will report to training camp - sponsored by Health Warrior - on Monday, March 14 in Seattle, Wa. A full schedule for Reign FC's Health Warrior Training Camp, including open training information for the public and media, will be released in early March.
The 2016 NWSL regular-season schedule is expected to be released mid-February.
