HELD IN SUSPENSE: The Sea Dogs open up a four-game series against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Friday night...Portland's last series win came on May 20-23 at Hadlock Field, taking three of four from the New Hampshire Fisher Cats...Portland has been postponed the last two nights, including Tuesday's suspended game (0-0 after 2 innings) - both games will resume in Binghamton...LHP Drake Britton makes his team-leading, 15th start of the season in the series opener.

MONDAY'S RECAP: RHP Erik Goeddel (7-2) tosses seven scoreless innings on six hits, one walk and seven strikeouts, leading the Binghamton Mets to a 3-0 win over the Sea Dogs ON Monday night...Anthony Ranaudo (7-2) took his first loss since May 7th, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits over 6 IP...Cesar Puello went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and a double...Xorge Carillo knocked in the first run with a run-scoring single in the second...Jeff Walters struck out the side in the ninth to earn his league-leading 18th season of the season...3B Garin Cecchini went 2-for-4 in his Hadlock Field debut.
