THEY MEET THE METS : The Portland Sea Dogs and Binghamton Mets play game two of their three-game series on Wednesday night at Hadlock Field...Monday night's series opener was postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on May 13th (two 7-inning games)...RHP Ty Buttrey is seeking his first Double-A win, and faces RHP Tyler Pill for the second consecutive start...Pill beat Buttrey last week (May 27) at NYSEG Stadium, hurling eight scoreless frames.

3 x 4 = WIN FOR METS :

Binghamton scored 4 times in three separate innings, grabbing the series opener from the Sea Dogs, 13-2 on Tuesday night at Hadlock Field...Portland scored both runs in the fourth inning...Binghamton's 3-6 hitters each had a 3-hit game; Niuman Romero went 3-for-6, HR, 5 RBI and Dominic Smith was 3-for-6, HR, 4 RBI...Andrew Barbosa (1-0) worked five innings on 3 hits and 2 runs (one earned) to notch the win...Teddy Stankiewicz yielded a career-high 8 runs over 3.2 IP to take the loss.
