MIDDLE GAME ON TUESDAY : The Portland Sea Dogs seek the series win on Tuesday night, hosting the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) in the middle game of their 3-game set...With a win tonight, the 'Dogs clinch a winning homestand and improve to 4-2-0 in series at Hadlock this season...RHP Keith Couch makes his third start of the season for Portland...Couch is 20-5 (.800) in his career with Portland, the second best winning percentage behind Brian Johnson (.833 in 2014).
GREAT START : Aaron Wilkerson (2-1) tossed a season-high 7.1 innings on 2 hits, 2 walks and fanned eight, as Portland took the opener, 2-0 from New Hampshire...Rainel Rosario (2-for-3) knocked in the first run with a run-scoring single in the second...Nate Freiman led off the sixth with a solo-homer to centerfield...Chandler Shepherd worked out of a one-out jam in the eighth, and recorded the final 5 outs for his 4th save of the year...Jake Romanski went 2-for-4 and Andrew Benintendi finished 0-for-4 in his Double-A debut.
