700 CLUB : Portland won their 700th game as a Red Sox affiliate with last night's 7-4 win, and continues their three-game set against the Binghamton Mets on Tuesday night at NYSEG Stadium...With a win tonight, the Sea Dogs will win consecutive series to start the season for the first time since 2008 (won five of six against New Britain and Connecticut)...With a win tonight, the 'Dogs will be over .500 for the first time since winning the 2011 opener in Reading - the only time Portland was over .500 that season.

PITCHING SET THE TONE : Right-hander Anthony Ranaudo (1-0) worked five hitless innings, with a walk and six strikeouts, leading the Sea Dogs to a 7-4 win at Binghamton...Juan Centeno ended the no-hit bid, nailing a two-run double with two outs in the seventh...Michael Almanzar and Tony Thomas each homered in the win, and Peter Hissey went 3-for-4 with an RBI...Daniel Bard pitched a scoreless seventh, and has not allowed an earned run in his last three outings...C Alberto Rosario had two hits (RBI) and Shannon Wilkerson finished 2-for-5 with a walk.
