Prince Albert, SK - Two Prince Albert Raiders were named to the NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch Preliminary list on Tuesday morning.

Goaltender Ian Scott and winger Simon Stransky were listed by NHL Central Scouting for the upcoming 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Scott, 17, was given a B rating, which indicates a potential second or third round draft choice. Last season, he posted a 13-9-2-0 record with a 3.24 goals-against average and a 0.892 save percentage. In three starts this season, Scott has a 1-2-0-0 record to go along with a 3.37 goals-against average and a 0.919 save percentage. He was the Raiders first round pick - ninth overall - in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

Stransky, 18, was given a C rating, which signifies a fourth, fifth or sixth round candidate. The 2014 CHL Import Draft pick put up 62 points in 62 games last season. He also skated for Czech Republic during the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championship. Stransky has started this season at a blistering pace, picking up eight points in the Raiders' first four games.
