Abbotsford Heat News Release

ABBOTSFORD, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that Saturday's game against the Chicago Wolves (AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre (AESC) is sold out, but tickets are still available for Friday night's game.

As of Tuesday morning, there are less than 1,000 tickets available for Friday night's game against Chicago. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets immediately to avoid disappointment. This weekend features the final two home games of the season against the Canucks' AHL affiliate.

The Heat encourage fans to avoid box office lines by using the free print at home ticket option or by picking up their tickets prior to game day at the AESC box office located at the main entrance off King Road between 10am and 5pm Thursday or Friday. Fans are also encouraged to arrive early on both Friday and Saturday night to avoid delays.

Fans are also reminded that this Saturday's game includes The Peak Post-Game Concert featuring Dear Rouge. Shortly after Saturday's game concludes, the playing surface will be transformed to a stage for the second post-game concert of the season. Dear Rouge is a pop/rock group from Vancouver and the winner of the 2012 Peak Performance Project, the biggest radio station artist development project in Canada.

The Heat will play another four home games next week at the AESC. The Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) visit Tuesday and Wednesday night, and the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators) will be in Abbotsford next Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. For tickets visit AbbotsfordHeat.com or call 1 877 452-HEAT (4328).
