Saturday Superheroes Night Adds to Promotion Packed Homestand

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Following up a record crowd at Regions Field this past Friday evening, the Birmingham Barons return to the Magic City for a five game series against the Montgomery Biscuits Thursday, May 19th, through Monday, May 23rd.
Superheroes Night, which was scheduled for Friday, April 29th, will be held this upcoming Saturday, May 21st, with the Barons donning custom jerseys that will be sold via silent auction to benefit Children's of Alabama.
Thirsty Thursday presented by Miller Lite, Woodbridge, and Buffalo Wild Wings welcomes the Barons back to downtown Birmingham, with a pregame concert by Emperors of Oranges presented by Birmingham Mountain Radio kicking off the evening at Regions Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Friday Night Fireworks presented by Hibbett Sports, Alabama Power, and Coca-Cola cap off yet another fun Friday night at the ballpark, as Birmingham takes on Montgomery with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as the Barons will be giving away a 1948 Barons replica hat to the first 1,000 fans 13 years or older thanks to our friends at Coca-Cola.
The fourth FIAT Friday of the season, brought to you by FIAT of Birmingham, will also include a commemorative "First Responders Night" theme presented by JobsQuest.org.
The first 1,000 fans age under 12 years old through the gates at Regions Field Saturday night will receive a Barons T-shirt, thanks to Edwards Chevrolet. The Barons third Saturday Night Entertainer Series will be held throughout the game, with the Zooperstars! returning to Regions Field thanks to Red Diamond and WIAT 42.
Saturday will also be a great night for groups, as the Barons will be hosting a "Church Night" theme during the duration of the game and a post-game Girl Scouts Campout. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Closing the weekend, NAPA Auto Parts presents the second Salute to Armed Forces Sunday of the season as the Barons and Biscuits battle with a 3:00 p.m. first pitch. The Barons will host their second and final pregame Youth Baseball Clinic of the season from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with young fans welcomed in early on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The I-65 rivalry between Birmingham and Montgomery concludes May 23rd with YP Monday, presented by the new YP.com, as the Barons and Biscuits finish the five-game set with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.
