Saint John Sea Dogs News Release

SAINT JOHN - In partnership with the Saint John Mill Rats, we are pleased to announce a special ticket offer exclusively for our most loyal fans.

On Saturday, your Saint John Sea Dogs host the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in Game 2 of their second-round playoff series Saturday, April 9th, at 8 p.m. at Harbour Station.

Our friends, the Saint John Mill Rats, entertain the Halifax Hurricanes Saturday at 2 p.m. in exciting National Basketball League of Canada action.

This schedule allows fans the opportunity to see both teams in one day!

The first 500 fans who show their Sea Dogs season tickets at the Harbour Station Box Office can purchase an upper-bowl ticket for Saturday's Mill Rats game for only $5 (plus a $1 service charge). Tickets can be purchased from now until Saturday's tip-off. You must have proof of identification at the time of purchase.

"Saturday is going to be an exciting day for sports in Saint John," said Sea Dogs President Trevor Georgie. "Doubleheaders don't happen often and we're happy to be partnering with the Mill Rats to give our loyal fans the chance to enjoy both games at an affordable price. These games can bring our community together Uptown in a celebration of sport."

"It will be an exciting day for Saint Johners to come uptown and spend the day taking in a thrilling basketball game, followed by an exciting playoff hockey game," said Mill Rats President Ian McCarthy. "It can't get much better than that for sports fans. We don't just want basketball fans to go to the basketball game and hockey fans to go to the hockey game, we want all of Saint John to come out that day and support both of their teams!"
